Research on "General Motors | What is GM”, 1998

About model range strategy
Advised Cadillac Vice President at the time (1998-1999) to open new market segments for the brand. No design language has been discussed whatsoever, but platforms and cost efficiency. This idea led to the Evoq concept (1999) which resulted in the XLR that shared Corvette components (since they were produced in the same plant, Bowling Green, KY).
The product hasn't been a breakthrough success though, but it does not necessarily mean that the idea was wrong in the first place.
